Meet our Pastors

Pastor John first came to Castlewood Baptist Church as our Youth Pastor and served from 2009-2013. After graduating from seminary he was called to be the youth pastor at Driscoll Blvd Baptist Church in Spokane, WA. He was then called to be the Minister of High School and eventually the Minister of Generations at Immanuel Baptist Church in Highland, CA before returning to Castlewood to be our Pastor in 2021.

Pastor John enjoys BBQ, playing sports, and hanging out with his family. His best friend is his beautiful wife Olivia. They are about as opposite as they come, but he very much enjoys spending time with her and is so blessed to have her as his partner in ministry and life. He is also the proud father of Ellie, John John and Nikolas. He loves watching them play sports and playing minecraft with them on the XBox.

 B.A. Bible and Applied Ministry with an emphasis in Youth Ministry, Oklahoma Baptist University, 2009.

M.DIV with a Concentration in Youth Ministry, Golden Gate Baptist Theological Seminary, 2013.
